This Saturday, February 17 is Random Act of Kindness Day. It's a great time to show family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and even complete strangers that you care. It's also an ideal time to show your love for this great, blue planet we call home.
Please join us over the next few days, as we suggest some green acts of kindness for you to consider - an easy one, and one that requires a bit more effort, each day.
As we work together to #TransformTO, there are lots of ways to show our love for our planet, our city, and our neighbourhoods.
At HomeHomes and buildings generate about half of Toronto's greenhouse gas emissions. That's why we're working to #TransformTO with these two goals: by 2050, all existing homes and buildings will be 40% more energy efficient, and by 2030, all new buildings will generate near zero GHG emissions by 2030.
